This past weekend I was in Oconomowoc Lake Wisconsin to take engagement pictures of Amy and Nick. They are getting married in August at a boat club on the lake and we had a chance to do the engagement pictures at the club. The weather wasn’t bright and shiny — it is spring in Wisconsin — but when you get two happy, cheery people together, you can’t help but get good pictures.
The picture shown here is my favorite from the shoot. The boat club sits right on the beach and has these great big arched windows looking out onto the lake. When you first see those windows you just know that you have to use them in the pictures. Of course that is easier said then done, but I’d have to say that I’m really pleased with how this one turned out.
Amy and Nick were great to work with and I’m really looking forward to their wedding in August.
