Every Saturday during the Summer in Madison there is a farmer’s market on the capital square. If you’ve ever come through Madison, you’ve most likely heard about it, and trust me, it is as good or better than what you’ve heard.
You’ve got fresh produce, honey, meats, flowers, etc etc etc. You’re right at the capital, with plenty of green space for kids to run around. The capital is open to the public and they have hourly tours (cost: free). You have all the mixings for a great start to the weekend.
